| Beyonce is the smallest dog in the world |
But at 4 inches tall it is soon to be beaten in the Guinness World Book of Records.
A new puppy was born two weeks ago that weighed one ounce. She has been call Beyoncé after the singer because her carers have said she is a survivor just like the song.
The puppy's mother, a Dashound mix called Casey was abandoned by it owner in California when the dog became pregnant. The dog rescue center that received her was going to put her down because they did not have enough funding to care for her and the expected litter.
Another Rescue Center, The Grace Foundation, stepped in and saved the mother and delivered her five puppies.
All five puppies are now up for adoption in a few weeks.
The center has applied to the Guinness Book of records to have Beyoncé become the official worlds smallest dog.
