Stray Dog who was Adopted by a Race Team

The team were eating a meal as they started their trek when the dog approached them.
They could see he was a stray so offered him some of their food. From then on the dog followed them for the whole trek of 430 miles.
They named him Arthur
They could not leave him behind so applied to be allowed to take him home to Sweden.
He was adopted by one of the team
